Carrie Bluebell was born in Montgomery, Alabama
in 1981. The second of three children, Carrie’s family
was rocked by the tragic death of her father, a well-
respected newspaper reporter. Carrie’s mother, a
veterinarian, packed up her three children and
moved them to Blackport a year after Mr. Bluebell’s
death. The reason Carrie’s mother brought them to
this particular town in New Hampshire still remains a
mystery. After Carrie graduated from college with a
degree in journalism, she was hired on at Blackport’s
newspaper, The Journal. Now one of the paper’s
most popular contributor’s, Carrie has found herself
attracted to her boss, The Journal’s owner and editor-
in-chief, Hunter Meadow-Brook.
